If you are living in Denmark, no doubts, you must see the Legoland. I thought that it is meant only for the kids, however, it is not. Even if you are 40 or 50 years old, you could find a lot to explore and see.
This was (after living 9 years in Denmark) not the first our visit to Legoland. However, from our experience, I would say that kids from their 3rd age become old enough to understand and truly enjoy the visit in Legoland. Now our son is 5 years old and his obsession is lego. Even thought, he sleeps with lego – if he builds something, so it must be taken to his bed 🙂
However, my goal, writing this post, is not to use it as a guide or draw some kind of tips for those heading to Legoland. Contrary, I thought I would share our Halloween-related experience and adventures in Legoland with both those, who have already been and those, who have not been in Legoland. Thus, this post is meant for an easy reading, enjoying the content and pictures without attempts to search for a particular information.
This time we have visited Legoland for a reason, it was Halloween. It becomes our traditions or must to see the Legoland in Halloween. It differs a lot in the way Legoland is decorated, the scary music, pumpkin building, drawing competitions and other Halloween appropriate activities. All of it creates this special, kind of scary, and festive atmosphere.
Legoland in Halloween
Legoland in Halloween has the same tradition every year. It is called: “Brick or Treat”, when kids can buy a bag that has a map in it, so they can find small gifts hidden in a variety of places of Legoland.
As I mentioned before, within directions given on a map, we had to find the houses, where “live” different characters (such as witch), telling scary stories and giving small gifts to the kids.
We managed to find 5 gifts that includes: 2 packs of gummys, 1 lego figure, 1 pack of chips and 1 pack of lego to built.
We, adults as well as kids, were also surprised by the decoration of a Miniland. All these cute small pumpkins together with all mini towns, airports, ports and etc. looked just impressing. The lights in the evening also added even more magic to a Miniland.
Finally, the fireworks and music together have made the day in Legoland just perfect.
Legoland, we are coming to you also next year 🙂
