DIY Cinnamon and Tree Branches Candles
Candles again? Yes, and there is probably more DIY candle crafts to come in the future 🙂 Why? Because it is that time of the year, when there appears unconscious or conscious need to make home cozy and/or smell nice. Thus, DIY Cinnamon and Tree Branches Candles are an ideal for those who misses nature sense in their home decor. Consequently, both looks very impressive and original as well – therefore, it is enough reasonable to make them yourself, be proud and let others to enjoy a warm lightning.
Step 1. Glue anise on a candle
Run hot glue along anise and place few of them (depending on a candles height) vertically on a candle.
Step 2. Measure cinnamon sticks
Place the cinnamon sticks on a candle and measure the lengths, so that the sticks match a candle height.
Step 3. Glue cinnamon sticks on a candle
Run hot glue along cinnamon stick and affix it vertically to side of a candle. Place one more stick on a candle.
Step 4. Repeat the 2nd and 3th steps
Repeat the second and third steps until a candle is covered with cinnamon sticks and anises.
NOTE: you can place cinnamon sticks and star anises to a candle the way you like.
Tree Branches Candle
Step 1. Prepare the twigs
Prepare different lengths of twigs. I have chosen some of the twigs that are slightly taller than a pillar candle, as it looks nicer.
Step 2. Cover a candle with twigs
Apply a line of a hot glue on the twig and place it on a candle. Do the same with as many twigs as candle becomes full covered. If you find a gap between the twigs, than glue small twigs between them.
Step 3. Glue anises
Take anises and glue them horizontally around the candle.
